There aren’t many better ways to make your lady happy than to buy her a new handbag. And if the one that you choose is a Prada handbag - then all the better!

Prada handbags are well known as very stylish handbags and it is also widely acknowledged that they are not the cheapest. Most women see an expensive handbag as confirmation that they are not ‘cheap’. It’s basically a type of status symbol, like a sports car.

Often times, although not rightfully so, women can be jealous over things such as handbags. But this jealousy is what women want others to experience when they see that they are carrying a Prada handbag. The name itself makes someone think about money. And everyone wants to have a lot of that and if they can’t, they at least want to look like they do even if it means getting something of lesser quality.

Many women will often search for deals when trying to find a Prada handbag that can fit within their budget. And often, they end up going home with nothing as these handbags can range anywhere from a couple hundred to over a thousand. So some women innocently enough end up at certain online auction sites in hopes of finding a great deal on a new or used Prada handbag. But what they end up getting is something they least expected ” a fake. The last thing you want is to end up paying $200 on a purse that is really worth no more than $20!

If you wanted to be absolutely sure that the handbag you purchased was genuine you could opt to buy from the official offline Prada stockists or from their own website. But this does not mean that many genuine bargains are not found each day on websites such as eBay - you just have to be a little more careful, but it could be worth it in the end for the money saved.

There are people who would be happy to buy a fake handbag at knockdown prices. But you should ask yourself - what kind of status symbol is it to have a fake expensive item? Others may not realise, but the person carrying the handbag will always know that they are a ‘fake’.

I guess it is simply a judgment call and the need to determine if your desire for a Prada handbag is large enough, that you would be willing to settle for a fake or just wait until you can afford the real thing. It’s probably better to just settle for a cheaper handbag if you can’t afford an expensive one.

Ideally, you will choose to buy a genuine Prada handbag. If you buy online, then be sure to take a little time and don’t rush into any big purchases.
